Initial Preproduction Pipeline

Hello ladies and gentleman and welcome to LIMELIGHT! We're your hosts, Siobhan and Eryk, and do we have a show for you. This year we will be producing our Capstone film for the RIT Film and Animation BFA. We're eager to push our skills to create a technically exciting and emotionally moving story about a game show host and his longing for the fading limelight. After months of planning, we have decided to scrap our initial plan (a game show with changing environments and censorship) and take a new path for the film. Our treatment is still being workshopped, however, our schedule and character designs remain the same. Additionally, our goals for this film are as followed. I (Siobhan) would like to push my character animation skills and advance my scripting and rigging knowledge with technical challenges. Eryk would like to improve lighting, set dressing, sound, and experiment with effects and particles. Our next steps are solidifying the treatment (mostly the plot), creating initial assets, and making character sheets for our game show host.
