Finalized Character Design

After weeks of tweaking, we've crafted a design for Nicky Knox that we're excited to share. The design of the character is meant to reflect his personality - friendly, loud, exaggerated, and bubbly.

His suit, although well tailored, is too tight. He's trying to fit into an outgrown role - and suit. He has a plump stomach after letting himself go after his show stopped airing. The lengthy arms and legs show his exaggerated personality (and were featured since they will be very fun to animate!). I can already imagine him strutting around like Woody from Toy Story 2 emerging from the old toy box (see below).
For reference of the character design's evolution, here are previous versions below from oldest to most recent. Our goal was to push the exaggeration of his proportions while maintaining a friendly and outgoing personality.

Version 1: the original concept for the game show host. We liked his rounder torso and smaller arms/legs.

Version 2: cleaning up the original sketch, we created this individual. After receiving feedback, we found that his face is too reserved and the proportion could be pushed further.

Version 3: coming close to a final design, we lengthened Nicky's legs in relation to his torso. His face became more defined and confident. However, something still felt wrong with the torso. We needed more hips and slightly adjusted proportion.
